Butter Cafe and Bakery

I've been wanting to try Butter Cafe & Bakery's chocolate croissants for some time. I called earlier in the week, on Wednesday, asking if they had chocolate croissants that morning after having a mediocre croissant at Sanctuary Coffee. I was told they're only available weekends, which I actually like. I like how they aren't available daily, making the chocolate croissants a special treat for only weekends. I arrived 20min after opening this morning and was able to beat any busy rush. The price for just my coffee and chocolate croissant was kind of high, but quality over quantity. So it's ok to me. I appreciate being asked if I wanted my chocolate croissant warmed up. And thank you for bringing me a cup of water that I didn't think to ask for but did want. The chocolate croissant was very nice in size, not too big or small. I liked the touch of powder sugar, differentiating from other chocolate croissants. I like how there wasn't just a glob of chocolate inside. Kind of looked like maybe 2 sticks of dark chocolate inside. The texture was beautiful and a right amount of flakiness. Overall an 8.7/10 chocolate croissant. It was just me and the croissant...strfkr playing didn't bother or interrupt me enjoying my chocolate croissant. *tater tots I ordered were also tasty, thank you*
