I visited later on in the day. I mainly just wanted a hot chocolate but also ordered a chocolate croissant. Ive tried Tierra Mia's chocolate croissant once before, but didn't write a review about it. Coming in later on in the day, it was nice to see all their pastries fully stocked. Right after ordering, i was asked if I wanted my chocolate croissant warmed up...which yes! finally yes. I appreciate being asked. Any recent places I've gotten a chocolate croissant from have lacked in offering to warm them up. Although the display of chocolate croissants and pastries were nice and i was asked to have my chocolate croissant warmed...it was not the best. Right away I was unsure about the chocolate drizzle on the outside of the chocolate croissant. It just shouts messy and that's exactly what it was. It was nice having the chocolate croissant warmed, but the chocolate drizzle on the outside just created a mess on my fingers/hand while eating it. The chocolate croissant was also a bit too chewy for my liking. Also flat in that there were no crisp, flaky layers visible. The size and the chocolate inside were ok. I was happy that the chocolate inside was melted some and not completely cold. This is a kind of chocolate croissant that if I'm near a Tierra Mia I would get, if I reallly wanted a chocolate croissant. It's the type of chocolate croissant that's more easily available since there's quite a few Tierra Mia's. Overall, this chocolate croissant came out to be a 5/10. Thank you.
